“Different Worlds”

Salem Hill's second release finds their sound maturing and beginning to reach for the future. The song structures are varied and interesting managing to keep the listener interested and, dare I say, on the edge of their seat. The King's X style guitar of songs like “There’s Always Canada” paint a marvelous contrast to the anthemic “Brave New World.” The vocal harmonies are pure and real. All in all, a stellar second release from a band that has helped to define the C-Prog genre.
