After many frustrating and disappointing years of singing and playing keyboards with local bands, New York based musician and composer Mike Florio decided to produce his own album. “Arisen,” released in 2006, is the result of that endeavor. “Arisen” contains songs written over a period spanning many years dating back to Mike’s earliest musical influences and creative inspirations. The album aspires to be an honest self-expression and exploration of craft, while maintaining a rigorous musicality throughout. Featuring a refined blend of progressive and classic rock, “Arisen” has been receiving great reviews and is being played on many progressive rock web radio stations.
