“Pay No Attention…”

Jay O’Connor is a jazz, fusion and progressive electric bassist from Colorado Springs, CO. His love is to bring together cool grooves, catchy melody, and improvisational and expressive playing together with his bass guitar. His playing covers all aspects of music: melodies, lead and solos, harmony and rhythm, and aggresive bass grooves.

His first self-produced work is “Pay No Attention…,“ a collection of six songs that bring the bass out from behind the curtain and into the front and center. Covering all the basses, Jay handles keyboard playing, sequencing, and drum programming to provide a backdrop for a multilayered and diverse approach to his main instrument.
